As a Roaring Lion (Part 2)

As we continue down the list, we'll have to admit most of us overuse the term, miracle.  The actual "working of miracles" is done by the power of Ruach HaKodesh and the human used in that, takes no credit for him/herself, nor does he/she charge for his/her time or appearance.  I am YHWH: that is My Name: and My glory will I not give to another . . .  Isaiah 42:8  A doctor that sends you a bill may in fact have made you feel better or removed what he thought made you feel bad, but that's not a miracle.  A traveling ministry show may make all sorts of claims, but when the signs are printed and the time is set, that's placed a man in charge of the show . . . and G-d doesn't have to do command performances.  As a matter of fact, Numbers 14 gives a perfect example of what happens when folks are disobedient, then presumptuous and expect a command performance.
But they presumed to go up unto the hill top: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of YHWH, and Moses, departed not out of the camp.  Then the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites which dwelt in that hill, and smote them . . . Numbers 14:44,45a
YHWH still does move in miracles and uses His servants in that, but they don't paint signs and buses with their names on them, and they don't sell tickets, and they don't schedule G-d!  Those following the Lion of the Tribe of Judah give all glory to YHWH, not just the lip service of a big show.  The counterfeit lion likes the credit.

As end time prophecy continues to be fulfilled, there are a number of "prophets" appearing everywhere from the local charismatic gathering to social media to elaborate websites.  My eyebrows go a little funny when I see the titles on social media . . . Prophet So and So or Prophetess Such and Such.  I even visited a brick and mortar "place of worship" that actually had a sign showing the prophet's schedule and hours for appointment . . .  Just as in miracle ministries, scheduling a prophecy is really shaky ground.  To use a Biblical term, I'd say "sinking sand" or at least "shifting sand."  Ruach HaKodesh doesn't need to make an appointment with His servants.  His servants avail themselves to Him, at all times.  If you make an appointment specifically for a "prophecy reading" you may be playing with the same counterfeit roar as the psychic network.

I know a little something about discernment, because I asked for this gift.  Before becoming a believer, I took everyone's word for everything, and did not make sound judgments or decisions.  I confessed that to Abba, and asked for the gift of discernment, so I didn't continue in that error.  The first time I saw a spirit, was sadly in my very own home and I really made a mess of that . . . My daughter had just moved out, and I saw it in her room, up by the ceiling fan.  I cast it out of the house . . . unfortunately my husband's dog was outdoors and it entered him.  It was just like in Mark 5!  I felt horrible.  I was young in YHWH and very zealous at the time.  The next one I saw was an horrible little mess, sitting on the preacher's wife's shoulder.  That was when I learned many entertain familiar spirits and have no desire to be delivered.  The immature zealotry has given way to bold maturity and wisdom has been graciously gifted to operated in tandem with discernment.  Gifts of the spirit really do lead in opposition from the works of the flesh.  If you think your natural talents are the same thing as the gift of the Spirit, you may be hearing the counterfeit roar.

Next week, I'll share what I've been shown about tongues and the interpretation.

As A Roaring Lion (Part 1)

I saw something in the spirit early this morning, and I have to share it.  I don't speak of the enemy very often, but when I was shown this, I was instructed to share it.

Most of us are familiar with the reference to the enemy as a lion, in I Peter 5:8  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: There are many teachings about the devil that use this particular passage, that I believe actually appear to elevate the power of the enemy.  We need to always remember, never forget, the enemy was defeated at Calvary, and the defeat was declared at that empty tomb!  He's still more than willing to wreak havoc in the lives of believers, but his roar is nothing more than making noise.  He doesn't really have to focus too much on the heathen nations, the flesh is more than willing to make a mess and promote it.  I'm not going to address the works of the flesh in this article, but suffice it to say, the list in Galatians 5, is lengthy, and is not the work of the enemy, but the unrighteous will of humanity.  Back to the subject of this as a roaring lion.

We know that Messiah is mentioned in Scripture as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.  We also know the enemy is not creative, but rather counterfeits, so . . . let's consider where the adversary can truly do the most damage, because that is his goal.  The enemy knows he has already lost, he's just seeking to cause casualties, now.  The enemy is not omnipresent, nor is he omniscient.  The greatest damage the enemy can do, is come along side the truth of a relationship with Messiah, with an imitation religion.  One that uses most of the same words; while lacking the Instruction and power.  Again, the enemy just makes noise . . .

As well as works of the flesh, we know there are spirits of evil in this world.  The most damage that can be done spiritually is by evil counterfeiting the Ruach HaKodesh [Holy Spirit].  Surrendering to the counterfeit spirits would result in many being spiritually devoured.  We've seen it with false teachers and showmanship evangelism.  This morning Abba showed me, the counterfeits for the gifts of the Spirit, and told me how we've missed recognizing the difference by claiming different interpretations rather than understanding different administrations of the same Spirit, or discerning different counterfeiting spirits.  He just showed me right in order, how the gifts of the Spirit are counterfeited by the adversary.

Formal education and experience are often mistaken for wisdom.  Education in and of itself is not evil, we should never stop learning, but education and wisdom are not the same thing, especially when it comes to spiritual matters.  Wisdom is not the result of experience, either; although we'd be wise to learn from our experiences. Wisdom and maturity do seem often to be hand in hand.  True spiritual wisdom cannot be taught, but only received by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.  Spiritual wisdom is not taught in seminary.  The gift of wisdom reaches far beyond religious matters, into insight in practical matters; as was the case when King Solomon determined who was the real mother.  Wisdom didn't come with the throne.  The circumstances of growing up a prince gives every indication Solomon would have had the best education available, yet he asked for wisdom.  A sure sign of the counterfeit roaring lion is "being filled with teachings of tradition and wise in our own eyes."

Much knowledge can be gained through gathering information, but the gift of knowledge through the Ruach HaKodesh is heart knowledge beyond head knowledge.  I, personally experienced the understanding of this when I received the Holy Spirit.  I'm an information sponge of sorts, and had certainly attempted to gain respectability through knowledge.  When YHWH clearly asked me if I was ready to lay down everything I thought I knew, I had no idea what would transpire . . . I retained Scripture I had memorized, spiritual truths I'd learned, but the teachings of tradition began falling away.   It seemed much of the information I had once valued as pertinent, had no place in my heart.   One of the surest signs of the counterfeit roar is clinging to the traditions of man to replace, thus reject Torah.  The Lion of the Tribe of Judah is Torah in the flesh.    And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.  Matthew 7:23   The word "iniquity" is translated from the Greek word, anomia; meaning: without the law.

The definition of faith has really been run through the wringer and hung out to dry!  I'm amazed at the number of those who claim Bible belief, seem to feel G-d doesn't operate the way He used to, although the Bible says He changes NOT!   It runs the full gambit . . . We seek the wisdom of man for our problems and don't recognize the signs of warning and judgment, all while claiming faith in G-d.  In the past twenty years, faith has really seemed interchangeable with presumption and demand.  The prosperity teaching which is nothing more than a false teaching to "sanctify the love of money" has led the way in presumptuous churchianity.  I still remember the horrible shudder I felt when I heard someone "praying" and telling G-d what He had to do, as they used Scripture out of context.  The sheer arrogance of that prayer, really scared me.  I've said for years that the national economy tanking, is judgment for the "name it and claim it" prosperity teaching.  While the "blab it and grab it" crowd speaks their version of "righteous judgment" over this generation of instant gratification, the adversary has roared and is devouring his prey.

In trusting our health to the wisdom of humanity, we have come to a very dangerous place.  Faith in G-d as our healer has actually been prosecuted as criminal negligence and health insurance is now mandatory.  Meanwhile, more children die every year from medical errors than have died in twenty years from non-medical treatment based upon faith.  The Creator of the universe, Who also created our bodies . . . stated unequivocally in Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of YHWH thy G-d, and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and wilt give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am YHWH that heals thee.

There's a reason we are warned against the use of pharmaceuticals in the Revelation, even if we don't have the wisdom to fully understand it. James gave instruction for wisdom and healing.  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of G-d, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.  James 1:5
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:  And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.  James 5:14-16
Defining righteousness without Torah is self-righteousness, which is not at all, righteous.  Again the work of the counterfeit lion.

Plurality in Hebrew?

Some may find this article to be controversial, but for me, it addresses and explains an issue that most of us are afraid to touch in any depth.  Walking away from the teaching of Trinity was the scariest thing I've done in my life, as a believer.  I tried to embrace the Tri-une teaching for a time, but Tri-une is really just another word for Trinity, so I abandoned that, as well.  It doesn't require a great knowledge of Hebrew to read the first line of Scripture in Genesis and see the two letters that weren't translated to English.

 Upon reading Revelation 3, verse 14, which I believe is a timely message to the current church in America, I saw Messiah's reference to Himself.  In addressing John, he refers to himself as the beginning of creation.  And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of Elohim;

I was sharing and chatting with a sibling in Messiah when this awareness hit like a ton of bricks.  So many years ago, I remember the teaching that the Revelation would connect us back to Genesis . . . The new earth would be the original plan . . . sinless.  In the translation from Hebrew to English, two letters of the first line of Hebrew Scriptures were not included.  In the beginning Elohim spoke [aleph tav] . . .  The Revelation, in the first chapter states, that Messiah revealed Himself to John, stating He was [aleph tav] which is translated in Greek, Alpha and Omega, in English A-Z.  The verse goes on to use the translated term "Almighty," but the Greek term is nothing like the Hebrew term, Shaddai.

The first line of Genesis begins the assumption that Elohim indicates a plurality or co-existence before The Word is spoken.  That is what I'd like to briefly address in this article.  The 'im" added to a word often indicates plural, such as Talmidim [disciples], Cohenim [priests], and goyim [nations].
I have no doubt that Y'hshuwah is the Son of YHWH, and not to limit Elohim, but fathers and sons are not contemporaries.  Although one is not a father until they have a child, the one who is the father exists before the son.

The three words mentioned previously are examples of the plural in Hebrew.  Talmidim are followers of Messiah, people living the example of Messiah in relationship to Him . . . Cohen is a singular title, Cohenim is the title for the collective group of priests performing a specific service . . . Goyim is the collective presence of unbelievers and unbelieving cultures/nations . . . all, by definition, plural.

The "im" in some words of Hebrew are more than plural, they are all encompassing and fluid.  Mayim is water and chayim is living . . . indicating "im" is more fluid and encompassing than simple plurality.
The ocean is filled with water, yet one can hold a glass of water, same word in Hebrew.  By that same token, one cannot simply hold water without a glass.  Chai is translated life, but chayim is living, which obviously cannot be locked into a single frame of time.  Sometimes the "im" in Hebrew indicates existing, encompassing, solitary yet expansive, active . . . Elohim can be on the mercy seat in heaven, yet in the spirit of every believer.  Echad, one; yet omnipresent.

We certainly cannot put G-d in a container like water in a glass, but I truly do believe Messiah had a beginning.  I believe He was the first Word spoken by our Creator, before anything else was created and I believe He was the existing Son of YHWH long before He was a babe in Bethlehem.  I believe He is the light of the world.  Light was spoken on the first day, sun and moon, day 4.  The Revelation 22 tells us there will be no night and no need of candle, because we will have the Light of YHWH.  I don't have to believe in the Roman Catholic Trinity to follow the Son of Elohim and to call the Creator of the universe, Abba.

Here is a link that breaks down the teaching in a similar concept.  http://www.godvine.com/read/A-3rd-Grader-Shocked-His-Entire-School-With-His-Assignment-About-God-fb-gv-607.html

Unrighteous History ?

WARNING:  Contains Controversial Information

I realize this is not necessarily a shared view by many, but in light of so many sensing something truly ominous heading our way as a nation, and since this last week, freedom and independence were celebrated; I'd like to offer briefly, American history including a Scriptural perspective.

I'll begin with my ancestors, since we made the first mistake in American history, and no the first mistake was not in feeding six starving Europeans that were afraid to get off their ship.  The first mistake of Native Americans was to give up their long standing belief that the land belonged to our Creator.  The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is Mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with Me.  Leviticus 25:23  I've heard fellow Native Americans say, 'they gave us Bibles and stole our land,' but that's not entirely true.  Although there was much bloodshed through the nation heading west, those first land transactions were basically negotiated, business deals.  They were however; business deals my people had no business making, but they yielded to the temptation of instant gratification of firewater and wampum.

Moving into the late 18th century, we find the Revolutionary War.  The term "Creator" is mentioned in the Declaration of Independence and in another source, you'll also find that Romans 13:1-2 was already written at the time.  Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.  Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.  Considering we have nearly broken our arms patting ourselves on the back in regard to American pride, the Revolutionary War started over taxation, not religious freedom.  And the guys as the Boston Tea Party weren't bold enough to actually stand their ground in protest, they dressed up as Native Americans.  The French and the Native Americans actually came to the assistance of the Revolutionaries.  The large green lady in the harbor came from France.

Although the European descendants were thrilled with their freedom from the King and had penned "all men are created equal," it turns out some men are more "equal" than others.  This new "real estate across the pond" was really big and required a lot of land management to attain aristocratic status of "Land Baron," so clearly someone had to actually do the work . . . Although we like to retell the history of self starters and hard workers, we tend to omit that much of this land was worked, this nation built, and expanded on the backs of slaves and the blood of the Native people.  This situation was politically resolved by the Civil War, but continues to be a political hot button topic called "racism."

Fast-forwarding to the early 20th century,  1929 to be exact, America was already loving the money!  When the Stock Market crashed, we didn't repent, we dropped the standard . . . the gold standard.  Rather than repenting and believing for the rain to fall, many headed to town for the Government Work Program.  By the late thirties, Hitler was terrorizing Europe and America refused to get involved, even refusing to admit over 900 Jewish refugees in 1939.  We were busy making classic movies that year . . .

Since I learned this history in another country that was not claiming heroism, I believe the following to be true.  America got involved in WWII after Japan attacked us and all of our allies couldn't help us, as they were already busy in Europe fighting Nazis.  By the end of WW II, twenty million Russians had already died, 13 million died in concentration camps; which included 6 million Jews, millions of Sabbath keeping Christians as well as Christians who were caught protecting Jews, gays and gypsies.  The invasion of Normandy was led by Canada, followed by Britain after being under siege for 5 years, and American troops.

Once the war was over, America embraced the opportunity to be the "World's Super Power."  We had the atomic bomb, we came into WWII late, so we still had some national energy with no rebuilding necessary as Hawaii wasn't yet a state, and by the 50's everyone could save up a down payment for debt called a mortgage.  The American autobahn [interstate federal highways] was begun, medical dependency exploded, and McCarthyism grabbed the national focus.  Hitler used the exact same tactics in Germany in the late 20's and early 30's.  Meanwhile in the 50's "porn was born."

The idea that a Christian Nation could be taken down by a single atheist to get prayer out of school is completely illogical.  This ruling in 1962 actually revealed the spiritual impotence that already existed in this nation.  Church was a weekend hour activity and those who attended synagogue were not included in the "Christian Nation" mentality except to offer great savings for Christmas gifts.

I'm not saying there are not genuine believers and servants of the Most High G-d of Israel in this nation, I'm simply stating the idea of a Christian Nation is merely ideology.  Repeating the ideology is not going to make it reality.  Implementing the ideology individually is what makes it a reality.  Simply stated, anyone who claims to be a follower of Messiah, one who claims to truly believe the Good News should live as He lived.  We don't have to change laws, we have to live by the HIgher Ones already written.  That's what Messiah did.

Y'hshuwah Messiah clearly stated, He had not come to abolish Torah.  Paul wrote that he continued to believe Torah and the Prophets, and continued to observe the Feast Days.  A New Testament only interpretation of Paul's writings may be exactly what founded this nation to head the direction in which it's arrived!  When the teaching of only half of Deuteronomy 28:13 went through Christianity, the impending fall of America was official.  When the teaching stopped at the semi-colon, judgment was sure to follow.
And YHWH shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of YHWH thy G-d, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

The rest of the chapter clearly explains America's problems today, and it is lengthy . . . 28:15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of YHWH thy G-d, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
